I dont know about you, but I'm completely head over heels for balloons. I'm the kind of girl that prefers balloons over flowers... I know... I know.  Not much of a girl am I. But they're just so fun and happy. When have you seen someone sad with a balloon on a string? Exactly. What I love most about this card, aside that it has a balloon on it, and that its a perfect way to share germs. Is that the birthday girl/boy has to blow it up in order to clearly read their message. In other words, it's got fun written all over it. 

Supplies

#1. One regular sized balloon

#2. Tape

#3. Card and envelope. I purchased these at target in the

 stationary section. Totally legitimizes a card // Or download my template!

#4. Pen

#5. Black marker

Step one: Once you pick what color balloon you want to use, blow it up! I would say not to big.

Step two: What you have to do now is hold it at a good angle so that you can write on it without releasing air. This part can get kind of tricky, and uses lots of wrist muscles.

Step three: Once you finish writing your birthday message, wait a minute or two so that it can completely dry. Then slowly release the air and set aside for 6 mins. This is the fun part. Your huge message has now shrunk into the tiniest writing possible!

Step four: As you wait for the balloon to dry, you can begin to write your message. I wrote "GETTING OLD BLOWS". The other one I like to use is "BLOW ME". That one always cracks a smile!

Step five: When your balloon is completely dry, close your card and place a piece of tape that is formed into a loop or double sided tape. Place a pen inside the balloon and move it around, to make sure you get your balloon nice and stuck.

There you have it a simple & sweet birthday card!

I'm so sad to see summer leave. Yet I am jumping with joy that I'm going to be able to wear sweaters, splash in rain puddles, eat 10x more than I already do, and everything else that comes with fall/winter.  This scrub is my way of holding on to summer by a string. 

Ingredients:

1. 1 cup of white pure cane sugar

2. 1/2 a cup of coconut oil / olive oil

3. 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

4. 1 lemon

Steps:

1. Place sugar in a bowl along with vanilla, zest 

of one whole lemon, and the juice of half the lemon.

 **Remember to zest first then cut the lemon.

2. Slowly pour in the coconut oil/ olive oil and stir. That

way you can see how liquidy you'll want your scrub. 

3. Place in a container or jar, tie a string with a label and voila!

Now your ready to use it in the shower! I love to scrub it all over my legs, then lather on my shaving cream. You will not believe how clean of a shave you'll get. OH and a helpful tip is to shower 6 mins after you've entered the shower. It prevents ingrown hairs.

The days I feel like sharing I make double the amount. I like to place them in the fridge, that way when a birthday comes along I'm prepared at all times! Did I mention it smells delicious? Im not going to lie, I've had a taste or two. Believe me you'll get curious too.

These nails are perfect for the summer! & there are so mannnny combination of colors you could do.

1. base coat

2. I used sally hansen extreme mint sorbet

3. Then i added a quick dry coat (cause im a klutz)

4. In order to get the effect, i made sure the wand was thick of polish. Then i added three dots of a cotton candy type of pink and worked my way up. You could do different pattern of drips, from high to low, etc.

5. You can also add a small drip towards the middle of the nail to give it even more of a drippy trippy effect.

6. top coat! and viola!

Oh the ever so sweet ikat print! These have got to be one of my favorite nail designs out there, and they're relatively easy! all you need is a wee bit of patience.

#1. start with your base color (sally hansen mint sorbet OR orly gum drop)

#2. apply orange splotches. Make sure that it drys!

#3. Add white in the middle of those orange blobs. Your basically going to be layering at this point.

#4. Outline the blobs with a black nail polish or polish pen. Make some parts a bit jagged to give it that Ikat effect.

#5. When you feel that its dry, you can finally add the "Eye" to your design.

#6. Add a wonderful top coat. and Voila!
